It's Foodie Friday! Diwali Sweets

Friday, November 05, 2010
In my previous post, I mentioned that today is the first day of Diwali, an Asian Indian (Hindu) holiday that is as celebrated as Christmas and New Years by Indians all over the world! Known as the Festival of Lights, Diwali is also known as the Festival of Sweets, so I thought it would make sense to show you an easy Indian recipe for Peda, a sweet treat that is extremely popular amongst Indians everywhere. Enjoy!
